The sites been very quiet recently because, as most you know, we were waiting for our first baby to arrive. She certainly took her time, she was born 18th June at 42 weeks! She also made quite an appearance into this world. It was quite a difficult birth which resulted in Olivia at first not breathing and being very distressed, so she had to be taken into intensive care to receive cooling treatment.
She was then transferred from Coventry to Nottingham and stayed in a while longer for test and scans. Finally our little baby was given the all clear and we brought her home for lots of snuggles, kisses and, of course, sleepless nights! She is now quickly edging to 6 weeks old (where does the time go?!!) and doing brilliantly.
So I have had no time to get crafty, but whilst sat bleary eyed feeding her in ‘I’ve never seen this time before’ o’clock I’ve been dreaming up things to make. Now Olivia is sleeping longer and I’ve (almost) stopped checking her every second to check she’s breathing, I have started to have a teeny tiny bit of time to start making. Nothing huge to report yet but the wheels have started turning again, so stay tuned for updates and additions to the site.
In other news my Mrs Mullins Makes area in Most Marvellous has expanded to fit lots more goodies and a much bigger selection. I share this wonderful area with My Dad who also has some gorgeous items, so go have a peek if you find yourself in Northampton.
Now for even more amazing news!! I’ve always said how actually amazing Most Marvellous is and in this months Mollie Makes it has a beautiful feature telling everyone how brilliant it is too! You should know, what Mollie says goes!
